What is personal training?
Personal training consists of one on one coaching from a qualified
personal trainer. This trainer teaches you, motivates you, and
gets you to work hard consistently while following a detailed
fitness and nutrition plan which the trainer develops for you
based on your current physique and goals. In selecting your personal
trainer it is important that you ask if your personal trainer
is certified. All personal trainers at Sculpt-U Personal Fitness,
LLC are both experienced and certified.
Personal training is the most effective method of achieving your
health, fitness, and/or weight loss goals. Sculpt-U utilizes the
most effective exercise and nutrition strategies to keep you continuously
making progress.

What kind of results can I expect?
It honestly depends primarily on how bad you want to achieve
your goals and how hard you are willing to work. Our personal
training programs will allow you to get the most out of your fitness
routine and nutrition plan.
Other important factors are age, gender, attitude, and what you
learn from us and how much you apply it to your lifestyle after
you leave our hands. The clients that have been most successful
are those that apply these three major principles: Positive
Attitude, Consistency, and setting Specific Goals.
How do I know which program is right for me?
It all depends... first, you need to know what your fitness goals
are. Then, look at the different programs we offer and see if
one is a good match for you. Each client is unique and we will
customize a program to meet YOUR goals and needs.
How often should I meet with a personal trainer?
This still depends upon your goals, how quickly you want to
achieve them, your schedule, time available to exercise, and your
budget. When considering the cost, be sure to remember that this
is your health and there are few things more important.
Most clients do best when they meet with a personal trainer 2-3
times per week. Any less than that and many people will slack
off and not get nearly as much out of the sessions. Here are a
few things to keep in mind when determining how often you should
meet with your trainer.
1. How fast do you want to achieve your goal and see results?
The more frequently you meet with your trainer the faster you
will see results and achieve your goals. There are several reasons
for this: consistency, accountability, motivation, guidance and
you will work much harder with your trainer than on your own.
2. How much experience with exercise do you have and how much
do you really know?
Many people have exercised before, many for years... but do you
really know it all? It's not likely... we spend years studying
and learning what we know and our primary focus is on helping
and teaching you. Think about it... if you want to get the maximum
return on your financial investments, are you going to do all
the research for your stock picks on your own or hire a professional
investment advisor? Why leave your fitness results to chance?
Many of our clients have openly expressed that they have joined
gyms in the past and started going for a month or so then never
returned. Why? The number one reason was that they did not have
to go if they did not want to, even though they knew they should.
Surveys of our clients indicated the exact opposite response…
That our current/past clients actually ENJOY coming because they
achieve their desired results, love the variety of training, and
appreciate personalized instruction in a private, state of the
art studio.
3. How much did you want to budget for your health and well being?
As previously mentioned, most clients do best when they meet
with a personal trainer 2-3 times per week. One hour sessions
are the norm; however, we do offer a limited number of 30 minute
sessions at a reduced rate. Discounts are also available when
purchasing multiple sessions in advance. We will be glad to go
over all pricing packages during your complimentary consultation
and help you choose one that fits your budget.
Are all of your personal trainers certified?
Yes, all of our personal trainers have a combination of experience
and certifications, and some have related degrees. We will match
you with the best trainer that fits your needs.
Why should I choose Sculpt-U Personal Fitness, LLC?
Here are a couple of reasons...
1. We offer the most comprehensive personal training programs
in the area. We do not push people thru workouts like many other
personal trainers... we develop a customized strength, flexibility,
cardio, and nutrition plan for you based on your goals, your time
available to exercise and your current fitness level.
2. Our only focus is on helping you achieve your goals and that
is what we do!
Where will I meet with my trainer?
Our private studio is located in Carmel at 146th street and Greyhound
Pass in the rear of the Cool Creek Commons Area, directly behind
Bob Block Fitness. Our address is 14757 Oak Rd. Suite 200 Carmel,
IN 46033.
Ok, All of this sounds great………BUT ISN'T IT
REALLY EXPENSIVE?
This is probably what keeps many people from ever considering
hiring a personal trainer. However, consider these interesting
comments from our past/current clients:
“You can pay for personal training now, or pay a doctor
a lot more later. And that’s something I would rather avoid.”
“I used to party every Friday night and spend $70 - $100
each time (do the math $280 - $400 per month). When I started
working out with a personal trainer, I quit going out on Friday
(but I still like my Saturday night) and not only looked and felt
better but actually saved money!”
“You know when you really look at how most of us spend
our money…personal training is an investment in your health
and how you look and feel, so to me, it’s money well spent!”
